About North American Evergreens Nursery
North American Evergreens is a family owned and operated wholesale nursery located in Smyrna, Tennessee. Founded in 1983 as a garden center on the corner of Old Nashville Hwy. and Almaville Road in Smyrna. Our original establishment was set up for retail and wholesale trade which included mulch, and a full line of trees and shrubs. In 2000 we moved our location to 580 South Lowry Street (Hwy.41/70S) in Smyrna. Here we continue to support a growing economy of landscapers, builders and commercial contractors with a full line of container and field stock grown primarily on our 20 acre farm, located 5 miles away .In addition to the plants we grow, several trailer loads of nursery stock arrive yearly from the west coast.

Not helpful at all. The lady was flat out rude. Whenever I asked simple questions, she basically laughed and told me to go do some research on the kind of plants that best fits my home. She also kept bragging about how busy she is and rushed the phone call. Very disappointed especially because I wanted to support a local business.

Joe was very unprofessional. Called to ask questions and he would continually cut me off. He told me I needed to google when I asked him how tall a certain tree grows. He hung up on me while I was talking. I wouldn’t patronize a business like this and hope none of you will either. I’m a local LawnCare and landscaping company trying to patronize other local small business, but not this one!!!!! I’d give less stars if I could for sure.

I love this nursery! Great prices, great plants, helpful and friendly staff. Every tree, shrub, and ornamental grass that I've purchased has done well in my landscape.

Based on this online information, I went to this "open" nursery around 2 pm in Fall of 2018 only to find both gates closed up tight. But this Fall, I couldn't find yews anywhere else and went back. I was given great service and got really healthy bushes. I realized "wholesale" means their primary business is with landscapers but they are open to the public which means individuals get tax-free merchandise, too! Sorry I didn't make the correction sooner.

We just bought a Christmas tree there today and it ended up being a pain in the butt because the way the tree grew. Kinda crazy but they went out of their way to help us and we now have the tree we originally wanted! Its a rarity that people give great customer service like that these days and my family and I are very appreciative! 6th Year in a row we have bought from them. Oh and they are the ONLY ones who carry the Noble Christmas Trees and are WAY cheaper than all these other places! Thanks Again!!!!
